Hydrostatic Tests
SeaSafe Norway AS does hydrostatic tests.
SeaSafe Norway supplies a wide range of fiber and metal cylinders for hydrostatic use. We are approved by the Labour Inspectorate to perform Hydrostatic testing and recertification of metal cylinders in accordance with ISO 6406. This is done within 2,3, 5 or 10 year intervals depending on the type of cylinders / regulations.
Examples:
Air bottles for diving shall be pressure tested the first time after 3 years, then every two years.
Air bottles for smoke diving should be pressure tested every 5 years.
Gas cylinders for extinguishing systems is tested every 10 years.
